Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents a special concert in collaboration with Bands in Parks - The Spirit of the Isles: Queensland Conservatorium Brass Band conducted by Howard Taylor. Under the accomplished baton of conductor Howard Taylor, the Queensland Conservatorium of Music's brass band return for another blockbuster concert!Always a highlight of the year, the band is accompanied by some very special guests, presenting a program full of Celtic fire and British majesty.The ASDAH Seventh Day Adventist High brass band will perform in King George Square 11.15-11.30am. They will also join the Queensland Conservatorium of Music's brass band on stage as the choir for the concert.This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Anje West in collaboration with Helen Johns Brisbane Metropolitan Bands (Bands in Parks).

An information and co-design session for the Youth Climate Action Fund.Come along to an information and co-design session to better understand the Youth Climate Action Fund and how you can get funded for your climate solutions!Brisbane has officially been selected as one of just 300 cities worldwide to receive funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies under the Youth Climate Action Fund, which empowers young people to step up, build skills and deliver research-backed results that could make a difference across Brisbane.We will talk about the grant requirements and how to set your project up for success.Age: The fund is open to applicants 15-24 years who live or study in Brisbane.Venue: Community Meeting Room, Ground Floor (between the escalators), Brisbane Square Library, 266 George St, Brisbane City.
