Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The walk includes a talk on their unique characteristics, their incredible adaptation to Australian climates and their significant role in supporting biodiversity in Australia’s ecosystems. You can also learn how to identify eucalypts growing in your backyard. This special guided walk led by the Volunteer Guides is part of GumFest which celebrates National Eucalypt Day held annually in March. Come and enjoy the GumFest activities at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha on Sunday 22 March from 10am to 3pm. This event will be held at the Australian Plant Communities section of the Botanic Gardens. You can walk (20–30 minute walk) or jump on the shuttle bus from the Visitor Information Centre. Requirements: Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen and insect repellent. Meeting point: Meet at the Information Tent at GumFest in the Australian Plant Communities. Cost: Free Age: Suitable for all ages

POSTPONED Bands in Parks: Easter Bunny Boogie
***This event has been postponed. New date to be advised soon.*** Bands in Parks performs at New Farm Park. Celebrate Easter in the sunshine with a relaxed afternoon of live music, family fun, food trucks and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Brass Roots Live and the Ken Chow Jazz Bands will bring their unique blend of smooth Jazz and upbeat brass tunes. Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny who will be hopping through the park with easter eggs and plenty of smiles for the kids.
Passport to the Universe
Get your passport for a thrilling journey through the Solar System, out of the Milky Way Galaxy and to the edge of the observable universe, returning home via a black hole. Narrated by Tom Hanks. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Passport to the Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Major support for new version provided by the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco.
