For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Volunteer Bushcare Working Bee - Yeronga Bushcare Group
Join other like-minded volunteers to help protect and restore Brisbane’s unique biodiversity through our Habitat Brisbane program. Whatever your skill level and motivation, joining your local Habitat Brisbane group is a great way to connect to nature and be active and healthy, all while meeting new people, developing new skills and making a difference to your local environment. With 160 groups across the city there’s bound to be one near you! Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projects. The Yeronga Bushcare Group meet on the second Sunday of the month: autumn/winter months - 3-5pm spring/summer months - 3-30-5.30pm. Venue: Ron Goeldner Park (access via 20 Heritage Close), Yeronga.

Architects - 2025 Australian Tour
British metalcore legends Architects are returning to Australia with special guests House Of Protection and PRESIDENT! British heavyweights Architects announce an Australian headline tour for December 2025, with special guests House of Protection and PRESIDENT. Presented by Live Nation, Architects will be heading to our shores to promote their new album The Sky, The Earth and All Between, which debuted No.8 on the ARIA overall album chart and No.2 on the ARIA physical album chart. The tour will kick off in Melbourne at Festival Hall on Thursday 11 December, then heading to the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on Saturday 13 December and ending at the Riverstage in Brisbane on Sunday 14 December. Be prepared, this will be one of THE rock shows of 2025.

Choreographed and brought to life by Paradox Dance Company, join the adventures of a young girl who drifts off into a magical dreamscape on Christmas Eve. Along her journey she encounters a mix of fairytale Christmas figures that help discovers that the true spirit of Christmas isn’t found in gifts or glitter, but in connection, love, and giving from the heart. Sono Lumo - A World of Sound, Light and Imagination
A blend of Christmas traditions and cutting-edge technology, Sono Lumo returns with a vibrant celebration of the festive season. As dusk falls, a dazzling audiovisual show will transform Queen's Wharf Brisbane into magical, immersive Christmas festival of sound and light set in a steampunk-inspired world. Over ten nights from 10-21 December (excluding 15 and 16 December), this experience will feature the finest electronically infused music, dynamic lighting, roving performers, interactive set pieces, curated bars, food trucks and more.
