2025 Brisbane Anywhere Festival
A festival of performances where Brisbane's undiscovered backyards, businesses, bus stops and warehouses become the stage, anywhere but where you'd expect it. From theatre on rooftops, warehouses and beaches, music in planetariums and backyards, comedy, immersive shows and performances popping up in bus stops all around Brisbane, there is no other festival that mixes the excitement of performance while discovering nooks and crannies of Brisbane. Bands in Parks: Music on the Green
Bands in Parks performs at Lanham Park. Second Winds Band will entertain with a program of toe-tapping favourites for an afternoon on the green. The bar will be trading and there will be picnic baskets and cheeseboards for purchase. Bring your family and friends and sit back and relax to the beat of big band favourites.

Good Songs; Bad Luck!
Presented by Indy Clark and the Brisbane Anywhere Festival, taking place at the Raven Hotel Cellar, West End, Good Songs; Bad Luck! is a celebration of 35 years of almost making it in the music business. Grab a drink, sit back, relax, and enjoy the best songs you’ve never heard.

Metamorphosis
Delivered as part of Anywhere Festival, Metamorphosis is a theatrical and audio-visual Kaleidoscope. Calvin Smith has written an altogether gut-wrenching and yet hilarious and inspiring work; an emotional rollercoaster. You will laugh, and cry, and discover together that, although there is much work to be done for men to transform into metaphorical “butterflies”, there is hope that we can mend men’s hearts and work together for a better world. Bands in Parks: Dancing Through the Baroque
Bands in Parks performs at the Thomas Dixon Centre. Experience the elegance of Baroque music and dance in this vibrant performance themed around historical dance. The Brisbane Baroque Players will perform on period instruments in authentic style, joined by Dance Kaleidoscope demonstrating English Country Dancing. Enjoy the sounds of harpsichord, baroque strings, and baroque wind instruments in a courtly celebration.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - A Grand Affair with Brass Band and Organ
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert presents A Grand Affair with Brass Band and Organ. It is always a grand affair when the spectacular Father Henry Willis Organ, played by organist Phillip Gearing, is paired with the Queensland Conservatorium of Music Brass Band, under the baton of Howard Taylor. This collaboration has become somewhat of a tradition over the past few years, with concerts celebrating everything from movie themes to the Best of British. This grand concert will be another affair to remember! This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Anje West, in partnership with Council's Bands in Parks producer, Brisbane Metropolitan Bands, Helen Johns.

Gathering - Wawumun
Gathering presents Wawumum. Wawumun is a young woman with an old soul, her songs express her love for country, people and culture. A multi instrumentalist with an angelic voice, her stage presence built on humility, grace and Blak strength that transcends language barriers. Wawumun creates deeply emotive songs that can transport you to another time and space. Join us from 12 noon-1pm to connect with First Nations music. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.

BLOC PARTY - Performing Silent Alarm and The Greatest Hits
UK indie rock royalty Bloc Party are reuniting with fans down under, announcing a headline tour hitting Australia in August joined by special guests Young The Giant. Bloc Party are celebrating 20 years as a band, and the 20th anniversary of their critically acclaimed debut album, Silent Alarm. Bands in Parks performs at City Hall. Ignite your sense of wanderlust and wonder with LawchestraQ as they transport you to faraway lands and untamed realms. From sweeping symphonic landscapes to adventurous movie medleys, join us for an afternoon that will inspire your inner adventurer. Music includes an arrangement of Jupiter by Gustav Holst and Gliere’s Russian Sailors Dance from the Red Poppy and other adventures. There will be afternoon tea and scones available for purchase as well as wine and cheese packs. Make it an afternoon out – invite family and friends for an afternoon at City Hall.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents The Magic of Gatsby. Midnight Jazz brings the spirit of the roaring 1920s to life with fresh, vibrant renditions of jazz classics. Formed in Brisbane during their Bachelor of Jazz Music studies, the group features Meredith Brothers (piano), Stephanie Larman (vocals), Jeremy Klysz (double bass), Evan Evans (drums), and Ken Chow (tenor saxophone). South Brisbane Federal Band takes you on a whirlwind trip around the world in 60 minutes featuring African Folk Song, The Irish Washerwoman, some light Italian opera favourites and Russian dances that will get your feet tapping. Join them for an afternoon in the park at Kedron.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - Jason Daniels Trio
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents the Jason Daniels Trio. THIS CONCERT WILL BE AUSLAN INTERPRETED. Jason Daniels is a man that has let music take him on a journey quite unlike anything he'd ever expected. Starting his solo career in 2015 playing a blend of blues, groove and singer/songwriter, the music he's played has taken him to over 10 countries and 500 shows supported by numerous original song releases. Along with his current solo project, Jason also plays in a range of other bands including The Dreggs, Brook St and session guitar for both Tay Oskee and Austin Mackay. His live set includes extended improve groove, fun originals with unique storytelling and special moments of sing-along connection.
