Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). The Visible Ink Takover of the QSM takes place on the first Tuesday of each month showcasing and celebrating local young artists. SAMARA is a proud Mununjali woman making her mark in Meanjin (Brisbane) Australia, as a powerhouse singer-songwriter. She blends the raw energy of soul, pop, and blues while drawing inspiration from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, and Olivia Dean just to name a few, SAMARA's music blends real emotion with confidence providing listeners with both strength and vulnerability while fostering an environment where self-expression and emotional connection coexist. SAMARA enthrals audiences with her moving narratives, adding a unique presence to each performance with a strong yet personal voice. With a strong dedication to her artistry, SAMARA is entering an exciting new chapter, preparing for more live performances and new releases in 2026. SAMARA and her band will be performing at 12-12:30pm and 1-1:30pm.

Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts presents A Tribute to Buddy Holly. The Australian Buddy Holly Show is an entertaining tribute to one of the pioneers of rock n roll. A heartfelt tribute to the legendary icon, starring Kris Knight, who brings Buddy back to life, accompanied by his four-piece band, of drums, guitar, stand-up bass and keyboard/saxophone. Kris has performed around the world, and has headlined with his band on luxury cruise ships, including Princess, Oceanic, and Celebrity lines. This 60-minute show features Buddy's hits including Oh Boy, Rave On, That'll be the Day, as well as beautiful ballads like Raining in my Heart, True Love Ways, and Everyday. Come and experience the magic of real old time rock n roll. This Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concert is produced by Salubrious Productions.
