Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts - Hope Lost and Found
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Hope, Lost and Found Anastasiia Staroselska, born in Chernihiv, Ukraine and Belgian internationally acclaimed organist and Music Director of Antwerp Cathedral, Peter Van de Velde started to work together 3 years ago, when Anastasiia fled to Belgium after the Russian invasion. Since than they regularly perform in Europe for prestigious festivals in Amsterdam, Cologne, Rome, Paris and Vienna. Anastasiia is praised for her rich and warm mezzo voice and sings a wide variety of music. Their program “Hope, Lost and Found” contains classical works from opera (Donizetti, Puccini), musical theatre (Les misérables) and film music (Bernstein).
