Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - 守破離 – Shu Ha Ri
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents 守破離 – Shu Ha Ri. Performed by Gen絃 as part of BrisAsia Festival 2026. 守破離 守破離 – Shu Ha Ri means to bridge between tradition and innovation. Brisbane-based koto master Takako Haggarty joins forces with award-winning guitarist and composer Phill Wilson to explore the evolving boundary between classical Japanese music and contemporary interpretation, rooted in decades of disciplined training in their respective traditions. This one-day special concert features guest artists Carl Rathus on the meditative shakuhachi (Bamboo flute) and the graceful Japanese dance by Junko Thompson. This unique performance invites audiences into a world of refined sound, elegant movement and a finely balanced harmony between past and present. This Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concert is produced by Salubrious Productions.
