Discover the beauty of Boondall Wetlands through collage
Sunday, 18 May 2025, 10:30 - 11:30am

Discover the beauty of Boondall Wetlands through collage

Join us for a unique and inspiring one-hour workshop where you’ll explore your connection with plants through vibrant collages. Artist Rachel Apelt will lead you in creating imaginative interpretations of the diverse plant life found in the Boondall Wetlands. This workshop is designed to ignite your curiosity about the natural world, encouraging you to observe plants more closely and appreciate their lifecycles and seasonal changes. Through drawing, paper cutting and gluing, you'll bring your botanical visions to life. Arrive early to embark on a self-guided walk and let the plants that capture your attention be your inspiration for the workshop. Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes before starting time to check in with staff at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Please wear a hat, fully enclosed shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Please bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.Note: This event will go ahead in light rain. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
