Share in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories, songs, rhymes, and interactive play activities. Ideal for children aged 0-5 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Gathering presents Rowie. Roeith Geraghty, better known by his artist name Rowie moved to Brisbane in 2021 to pursue his passion for the creative arts after releasing his debut single in 2019. His journey in music began at a young age, drawn to the piano as his primary instrument and later exploring the limitless possibilities of music production. Old Lore presents Ancient Echoes: Old Lore & Young Bloods emerging artist Rowie, performing live from 12 noon - 1pm at the Queen Street Mall main stage. Urban Utilities - Water Stories Art Experience
Come and join us for a unique event for children aged 8 years and over! Have a yarn and learn traditional First Nations customs and painting techniques with Our Yarn (Ngalin Ayeye) at Urban Utilities Visual Art Water Stories Experience. This is an interactive and engaging painting workshop for children, led by Our Yarn, that raises awareness about the urban water cycle and its deep connection to First Nations culture, histories and stories. Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-smart clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.Note: This activity can be delivered indoors if required. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
