Guided walk of the Tulla-yugaipa Track (useful plants)

Join this informative guided walk around the gentle 100m Tulla-yugaipa dhagun Track. Meaning 'place of useful plants', this short track showcases plants used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and colonial peoples. A volunteer guide will lead you around the trail to identify some of the featured native plants and other wetlands resources and explain some traditional uses. After the walk, visitors can enjoy other nearby walking tracks, relax in the picnic area, and visit Boondall Wetlands Environment Centre. Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and insect repellent.  Please bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.  Note: Walks are subject to weather and environmental conditions.

The Manly Creative Markets operates Every Sunday (except when Christmas Day is on a Sunday!) from 8am until 2pm, as an alternative retail outlet for local and regional creative talent, and is definitely not a flea market.  You will find artisan wares, arts & crafts, plants,  great coffee, entertainment, massage, fashion, pet items and so much more at the Manly Creative Markets in Little Bayside Park every Sunday. Free parking in the surrounding streets.

Bush Kindy is for children aged 3 - 5 years, alongside their parents and carers. Be immersed in the natural surroundings of the reserve as children build nature confidence through bushwalks, exploration, story-time, art 'n' craft and much more. On the day of the event Please arrive 10 minutes before starting time to check in with staff at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Please wear a hat, fully enclosed shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Please bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site. It is recommended to bring a spare change of clothes as sessions may include messy play.Note: This event can go for up to 45 minutes and will go ahead in light rain. Themes vary each week. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
