Bush Babies
Bring your babies to Karawatha Forest and immerse them in the wonders of the outdoors. This free-form event introduces your baby to the joy of free play in nature. Bush Babies offers a safe space for families to connect with each other and their local bushland reserve. Join us for a morning of exploration and connection, where parents and children aged 0-1 can play, learn, and make new friends. Requirements: All babies must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, fully enclosed walking shoes and insect repellent. Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Yoga
Focus on a range of movements to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating standing poses and mat work into the session.

Bush Kindy
Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5 years, alongside their parents and carers. Be immersed in the natural surroundings of the reserve as children build nature confidence through bushwalks, exploration, story-time, art 'n' craft and much more. Bush Kindy sessions can go up to 45 minutes and will go ahead in light rain. Themes vary each week. This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please email us. Requirements: Arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Children must be directly supervised by an adult. Karawatha Forest Discovery Walk
Join this informative guided walk around one of the many tracks in Karawatha Forest. A volunteer guide will lead you through the forest and identify many of the native flora and fauna you will see along the way. After the walk, visitors can enjoy other nearby walking tracks, relax in the picnic area, and visit Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre. Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult.
