Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projects.The Mookin-Bah Bushcare Group meets the second and last Saturday of each month 7-9am in the warmer months, 7.30-9.30am in the cooler months.

Bookings essential. This dance fitness class is 100% low-impact, all standing, no equipment, and suitable for all fitness levels. The choreographies are simple and easy to follow, designed for beginners, active seniors, and everyone who wants a fun cardio workout that is moderate intensity and gentle on their joints.

Micro Museum
What will you collect? Welcome to Micro Museum – a space for telling stories through objects. You are invited to explore the fascinating world of collecting, and uncover the memories that objects hold. Inspired by major exhibition Precious in this space you are the curator. You can select, sort and arrange a wide array of items, many of which are second-hand or vintage. Each object holds memories, and now you can create your own.

RQAS Exhibition: All Creatures and Wild Things
Royal Queensland Art Society Exhibition: All Creatures and Wild Things For this exhibition, artists were invited to consider our relationships with animals. Artworks can depict imagined, observed or experienced perceptions of the natural world, explore environmental and scientific themes, or investigate animals in folklore, symbology or the domestic realm. The exhibition will be on show at Petrie Terrace Gallery from Thursday, 17th April to Sunday, 11th May 2025. *Please note* gallery closed for the Easter long weekend (Apr 18-20th) and ANZAC Day (Apr 25th). Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Deep water running
This is an aquatic workout that uses all major muscle groups. Participants wear a buoyancy belt so there's no need to worry about being in deep water however you do require basic swimming skills. Classes will be held in the outdoor 25m/50m pool.
