La Boite Theatre and Dead Puppet Society Present A World Premiere, a show of monsters and heroes. WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE! is a high-octane comedy that will leave you on the edge of your seat, brought to life in a large-scale production in collaboration with Dead Puppet Society. Off the coast of Queensland, deep in the Pacific Ocean, something terrifying is stirring. Meanwhile, in Brisbane, a local student feels the tremors of its approach. No one listens to her warnings, and as the beast draws closer, she must decide what’s more dangerous—the monster, or the society that created it. This dazzling space show launches visitors through space and time to experience the life and death of the stars in our night sky, including our own nurturing Sun. Tour familiar stellar formations, explore new celestial mysteries, and discover the fascinating, unfolding story that connects us all to the stars. Those who come along for the journey may never see the night sky in the same way again. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Dragonboating
Bookings essential. Have fun learning how to paddle in a 12m dragon boat and see the city from a different perspective. Paddle out of Breakfast Creek and onto the Brisbane River. Session includes a warm-up, paddling instruction and time on the water. Please ensure you arrive no later than 9am. Upon arrival you will check-in, warm up and receive the safety brief and paddling instruction.

Lambs Tails, Zig Zags, Silver Wattles, Golden Wattles in bloom, And more with buds ready to burst from the Winter gloom. Each walk will include a talk about varieties, the history of the wattle in Australia and Queensland, the importance of wattle as an Australian symbol plus some unusual facts and common myths. Walks will run for approximately 1.5 hours. Requirements: This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for explanations but no sitting. Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Audience: Suitable for all ages, interested adults and families with children. Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre. RQAS Abstraction Exhibition
Back by popular demand is the RQAS Abstraction exhibition! For this exhibition artists were invited to submit artworks in their own media and style, showing us their interpretation of an Abstract or Abstracted Artwork. This includes art that has recognisable forms, as well as more expressive styles and pure abstraction, with inspiration from movements such as Fauvism, Dadaism or Cubism. This eclectic and exciting exhibition and gallery shop features the work of eight prominent Brisbane artists. Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.
