Micro Museum
What will you collect? Welcome to Micro Museum – a space for telling stories through objects. You are invited to explore the fascinating world of collecting, and uncover the memories that objects hold. Inspired by major exhibition Precious in this space you are the curator. You can select, sort and arrange a wide array of items, many of which are second-hand or vintage. Each object holds memories, and now you can create your own. RQAS Abstraction Exhibition
Back by popular demand is the RQAS Abstraction exhibition! For this exhibition artists were invited to submit artworks in their own media and style, showing us their interpretation of an Abstract or Abstracted Artwork. This includes art that has recognisable forms, as well as more expressive styles and pure abstraction, with inspiration from movements such as Fauvism, Dadaism or Cubism. Gathering - Wawumun
Gathering presents Wawumum. Wawumun is a young woman with an old soul, her songs express her love for country, people and culture. A multi instrumentalist with an angelic voice, her stage presence built on humility, grace and Blak strength that transcends language barriers. Wawumun creates deeply emotive songs that can transport you to another time and space. Join us from 12 noon-1pm to connect with First Nations music. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.

Manly Creative Markets
The Manly Creative Markets operates Every Sunday (except when Christmas Day is on a Sunday!) from 8am until 2pm, as an alternative retail outlet for local and regional creative talent, and is definitely not a flea market. You will find artisan wares, arts & crafts, plants, great coffee, entertainment, massage, fashion, pet items and so much more at the Manly Creative Markets in Little Bayside Park every Sunday. Free parking in the surrounding streets.

Bands in Parks: In the Spirit of Adventure
Bands in Parks performs at City Hall. Ignite your sense of wanderlust and wonder with LawchestraQ as they transport you to faraway lands and untamed realms. From sweeping symphonic landscapes to adventurous movie medleys, join us for an afternoon that will inspire your inner adventurer. Music includes an arrangement of Jupiter by Gustav Holst and Gliere’s Russian Sailors Dance from the Red Poppy and other adventures. There will be afternoon tea and scones available for purchase as well as wine and cheese packs. Make it an afternoon out – invite family and friends for an afternoon at City Hall.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - The Magic of Gatsby
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents The Magic of Gatsby. Midnight Jazz brings the spirit of the roaring 1920s to life with fresh, vibrant renditions of jazz classics. Formed in Brisbane during their Bachelor of Jazz Music studies, the group features Meredith Brothers (piano), Stephanie Larman (vocals), Jeremy Klysz (double bass), Evan Evans (drums), and Ken Chow (tenor saxophone). Their dynamic performances breathe new life into timeless tunes like Stardust and Ain’t Misbehavin’, blending nostalgia with innovative arrangements. Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city.
