What will you collect? Welcome to Micro Museum – a space for telling stories through objects. You are invited to explore the fascinating world of collecting, and uncover the memories that objects hold. Inspired by major exhibition Precious in this space you are the curator. Royal Queensland Art Society Exhibition: All Creatures and Wild Things For this exhibition, artists were invited to consider our relationships with animals. Artworks can depict imagined, observed or experienced perceptions of the natural world, explore environmental and scientific themes, or investigate animals in folklore, symbology or the domestic realm. The exhibition will be on show at Petrie Terrace Gallery from Thursday, 17th April to Sunday, 11th May 2025. *Please note* gallery closed for the Easter long weekend (Apr 18-20th) and ANZAC Day (Apr 25th). Awards Night On Wednesday, 23rd of April at 7pm, join us at Petrie Terrace Gallery for the exhibition Awards Night! At this event we will announce the winning artworks. Manly Creative Markets
The Manly Creative Markets operates Every Sunday (except when Christmas Day is on a Sunday!) from 8am until 2pm, as an alternative retail outlet for local and regional creative talent, and is definitely not a flea market. You will find artisan wares, arts & crafts, plants, great coffee, entertainment, massage, fashion, pet items and so much more at the Manly Creative Markets in Little Bayside Park every Sunday. Free parking in the surrounding streets.

Bands in Parks: A Touch of Tango with Asian Spice
Bands in Parks performs at New Farm Park. Come on a musical journey with Bardon Strings, where strings come alive in a fusion of Latin flair and enchanting melodies. The ensemble will captivate your senses with the passionate rhythm of tangos, performing timeless pieces such as 'Over the Rainbow' and 'La Paloma', along with the haunting beauty of 'Gabriel's Oboe' from The Mission as well as some beautiful Asian-inspired music based on popular Taiwanese folk songs. Revel in a rich tapestry of sound and be swept away by the seductive beats of tango with Asian spice in the park.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents The Girl from Greece: A Tribute to Nana Mouskouri. Following the resounding success of our 90th birthday tribute concert to Nana Mouskouri in October 2024 at QPAC, The Girl From Greece Singers Katerini Manolatos and Mel Lathouras, along with their stellar band, are preparing to celebrate Nana’s music once again at Brisbane City Hall. With a career spanning over seven decades and album sales in the hundreds of millions, Nana Mouskouri has a place in the hearts of music lovers worldwide. Just mention her name, and people share their love of the singer and her music. In 'The Girl From Greece: A Tribute to Nana Mouskouri,' our audience will journey through Nana’s greatest hits, from 'Never on a Sunday' to 'White Rose of Athens', while paying homage to the Greek music she passionately sang, such as Enas Mythos and Millise Mou. Embark on an enchanting musical journey as we pay tribute to the extraordinary talent of our beloved star, Nana Mouskouri. Haitch
HAITCH unleashes a musical journey in Brisbane with his one-man show! Brisbane’s own multi-talented artist, HAITCH, is set to take the stage with his captivating one-man show. This unique musical experience promises to be an unforgettable event, showcasing HAITCH’s remarkable skills on a diverse array of instruments. His performance will feature an incredible line-up of instruments, including the iconic Australian Didgeridoo, Asian and Native American style wooden flutes, European brass horns, whistles and his unmistakeable vocals. Each note he plays brings to life the rich traditions and stories behind these instruments, inviting the audience to embark on a magical journey through sound. Gathering - Robyn Hourigan: Weaving
Gathering presents Robyn Hourigan. Robyn Hourigan is a proud Bundjalung Woman. Weaving, a tradition she learned from her own cousin, Robyn uses mainly raffia sourced from palm trees and more traditionally lomandra grass to create a range of items like earrings, baskets and bookmarks. Join us from 12 noon - 1pm, at the Queen Street Mall main stage to create your own bookmarks. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.
