Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Narrated by Robert Redford. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Cosmic Collisions was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York in collaboration with the Denver Museum of Nature & Science; GOTO INC, Tokyo, Japan; and the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. Cosmic Collisions was created by the American Museum of Natural History with the major support and partnership of NASA, Science Mission Directorate, Heliophysics Division.

Community Immunisation Clinic - Carindale (evening)
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Equal parts climate change thriller, schlock horror, and live-action comic book, WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE! is Godzilla meets The Betoota Advocate, created for a post - Greta Thunberg world. What will you collect? Welcome to Micro Museum – a space for telling stories through objects. You are invited to explore the fascinating world of collecting, and uncover the memories that objects hold. Inspired by major exhibition Precious in this space you are the curator. You can select, sort and arrange a wide array of items, many of which are second-hand or vintage. Each object holds memories, and now you can create your own.
