Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Children’s storytime in the park - Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Gathering: Bingkin Ngugi
Gatheirng presents Bingkin Ngugi. Bingkin Ngugi (Dean Tyson) is a story holder, a mundu (didgeridoo) musician/song man and celebrated Goori artist. Bingkin tells of Goori education from traditional dreaming stories and the Lore and also demonstrates cultural artefacts and other tools and weaponry. Bingkin shares knowledge of the Goori way of life & Goori way of thinking, always was and always will be Goori Land. Please join us at the main stage of Queen Street Mall from 12noon-1pm as Bingkin facilitates an exciting workshop of the importance of ochre. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tive Nations.
