Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - Songs and Waltzes of Yesteryear Queensland
Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts presents Songs and Waltzes of Yesteryear Queensland. Performed by Soirées Musicales Quintette featuring Annie Lower – soprano, Rachael Griffin – soprano, Mattias Lower – tenor, Leon Warnock – baritone and Peter Roennfeldt – piano, hear songs about Queensland by those who lived here, a program of attractive music from yesteryear. Every song has a story, but many favourites are not often heard today. Soirées Musicales Quintette helps to fill this gap, by reviving salon music from the early twentieth century. This concert features delightful songs about place including 'In-doo-roo-pilly', the 'Sandgate waltz’ and the 'Redcliffe March'. Other big hits by local songwriters such as Hilda Maclean and Billy Maloney were in honour of eminent visitors including the Prince of Wales and Kingsford Smith. Join us for a trip down a very local memory lane! This Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concert is produced by Salubrious Productions.
Visible Ink Takeover the QSM Stage featuring Indiana Freeman
Indiana Freeman is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and pianist whose original music blends the grit of rock, the groove of funk, the intimacy of indie, and the timeless pull of soul and jazz. A graduate of Brisbane’s Music Industry College, she captivates audiences with smoky, soulful vocals and deeply emotive piano work that feels both classic and fresh. Raised in a musical family, Indiana began performing early, studying vocals with her aunt and honing her craft through family jam sessions and live shows. With memorable performances at The Triffid for her school’s 2024 showcase, she continues to refine her piano skills while appearing at local community events—establishing herself as a bold young artist whose music invites listeners to feel deeply and move freely. Indiana will be performing at 12pm to 12:30pm and 1pm to 1:30pm on the Main Stage of the Queen Street Mall.
