Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - BRISBANE FESTIVAL - The Telephone
Brisbane City Council proudly presents a special series of Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts for Brisbane Festival. A pocket-sized rom-com opera. Sparkling soprano Katie Stenzel and characterful baritone Jon Maskell are bringing the laughs and the romance alongside virtuoso pianist Alex Raineri. The program begins with highlights of great American opera, with arias by Douglas Moore, Leonard Bernstein, and more, before moving on to the main event: Italian-American composer Gian Carlo Menotti’s chamber opera — The Telephone. Sung in English, this pocket-sized rom-com opera follows Lucy, Ben, and the ever-present Telephone coming between them. It's a hilarious commentary on navigating technology in relationships — but who will end up as the third wheel? This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Brisbane Festival.

Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus.
