Enter via the corner of Adelaide and Albert Streets-look for the pink signs and take the stairs down.Hosted by a friendly volunteer, the Chatty Table creates a space where conversation flows easily and everyone is welcome.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.Walk timesDaily departures at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday.Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace.Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre.Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Nature journaling for adults
Join this regular nature journaling get-together at Downfall Creek Bushland Centre on the last Friday afternoon of each month (except public holidays). These informal sessions are a great opportunity to take some time out, relax, and connect creatively with nature.Requirements: Bring your own basic sketch/art pad. All other materials supplied. Wear sun-safe clothing and secure, fully enclosed walking shoes. Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site. Bring a lightweight outdoor chair if you'd like to use one. Arrive 5 minutes early to check-in.Note: This activity will go ahead in light rain and can be delivered indoors if required. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
