Pull up a chair and enjoy a chat with others in your community, whether you’re dropping in for a quick hello or staying a while. Location: Brisbane City Hall (basement level). Enter via the corner of Adelaide and Albert Streets—look for the pink signs and take the stairs down. Hosted by a friendly volunteer, the Chatty Table creates a space where conversation flows easily and everyone is welcome.

Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Encounters in the Milky Way
Discover the chance encounters that have shaped our place in the universe. Narrated by Pedro Pascal, Encounters in the Milky Way is a time-traveling journey about the cosmic movements that shape our galactic neighborhood. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Encounters in the Milky Way was developed by the American Museum of Natural History (amnh.org) with the major support and partnership of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Whether you're wanting a chance to work on your project in a relaxed, collaborative space or learn a new skill, Visible Ink's art and craft sessions provide an opportunity for young people to hang out, create, and meet other young artists and crafters. Visible Ink provides a range of art and craft supplies to support a variety of interests and our facilitator can help you with whatever it is you're working on. If you dont know where to start, we can help you to start with activities like sewing, quilting, crochet, knitting and upcycling. Join us on Friday afternoons 4pm to 6pm to chill and create!
