Talk to a Planner sessions help residents, business owners, community groups and industry professionals understand Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan) and how it relates to their building and construction plans. Talk to a Planner is available all year round, with additional sessions held regularly across the city for your convenience. During these free sessions you can speak face-to-face with a planning specialist, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about how City Plan relates to your property. Council also has a team of dedicated officers who can answer simple questions about your development application over the phone during business hours (9am-4pm, Monday-Friday). Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5 years, alongside their parents and carers. Be immersed in the natural surroundings of the reserve as children build nature confidence through bushwalks, exploration, story-time, art 'n' craft and much more. Bush Kindy sessions can go up to 45 minutes and will go ahead in light rain. Themes vary each week. This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please email us.  Requirements: Arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Children must be directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Suitable old clothes recommended for messy play. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site. Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

For this exhibition artists were invited to submit artworks in their own media and style, showing us their interpretation of an Abstract or Abstracted Artwork. This includes art that has recognisable forms, as well as more expressive styles and pure abstraction, with inspiration from movements such as Fauvism, Dadaism or Cubism.
