Kenrose Street Festival
The Kenrose Street Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly community event celebrating the amazing local businesses in the Kenrose Street Carina precinct.The street will come alive with musicians, roving street entertainment and market stalls, to help celebrate Kenrose's local businesses - well known for having some of the best coffee, baked goods, bread and pizza in Brisbane!There's something for everyone at the Kenrose Street Festival with face painting, shows and activities for the kids too!Location: Kenrose Street, Carina (between Bradnor and Ramsden Streets).Please note: A detour will be in place via Cantley Lane between 7am and 3pm.Proudly supported by Brisbane City Council and Carina Leagues Club.
Brisbane Sculpture Festival
Some of Queensland's most prominent sculptors will showcase their work at the Auditorium and throughout the surrounding gardens of the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens. Visitors are invited to explore a diverse collection of sculptures, purchase artworks, and engage directly with the artists.The indoor exhibition will run from 31 July to 10 August, located within the Auditorium and featuring a curated selection of sculptural works. Complementing this, the outdoor sculpture trail will be on display from 31 July to 30 October, open daily from 8am to 4pm. Set across the stunning Botanic Gardens, the trail transforms the landscape into a vibrant open-air gallery, where sculptures of all shapes and sizes invite visitors to explore and uncover their unique stories.Step into a magical wonderland where art and nature intertwine, offering a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.Proudly sponsored by Brisbane City Council. LUMINOUS Lantern Parade
The LUMINOUS Lantern Parade returns in 2026 and we can't wait to celebrate with you at South Bank Parklands!Join us ahead of Multicultural Queensland Month with a night full of colour, culture, music and community spirit. Bring your friends, family or community group and be part of one of Queensland's biggest multicultural celebrations as we welcome new Queenslanders.Let's light up Brisbane together! Brisbane Winter Sessions Festival 2026
Brisbane Winter Sessions is a two-week live music trail across 12 venues and over 35 artists, blending free and ticketed shows from 2-16 August 2026. Kalinga Colour Dash

Brisbane Kite Festival
A wonderful free family event full of fun for all ages, from toddlers and preschoolers to teens and young and older adults. Bring your own kite or choose one from the wide variety on sale.Food trucks, a sausage sizzle, children's rides, face painting and other fun activities promise a lovely day in the winter sun.This event is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Brisbane South-East and Carindale and proudly supported by Brisbane City Council.
