Perfect Little Planet
Children will love this tour of the Solar System through the eyes of a family of aliens on vacation from another star system. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. This show contains some sudden sound effects, fast moving scenes and flashing light sequences.

For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Wild edibles walk
Join a guided walk to discover some of the useful native plants along the Tulla-yugaipa dhagun track at Boondall Wetlands. Go wild and discover edible Australian native plants at Boondall Wetlands reserve. Join environment centre staff on a short guided tour along the Tulla-yugaipa dhagun track (place of useful plants) showcasing some of the wild edible plants used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and colonial peoples, as well as some other surprising uses. Please note collecting plants is not permitted in this protected conservation reserve. After the walk, join a short tasting session where you can try some foods prepared using native plants and find out more about some of the ‘bush food’ native plants suitable for backyards and balconies in Brisbane. Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the environment centre. Wear sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Bring water and a snack as there are no food outlets on site. Note: This event will go ahead in light rain and can be adapted for indoors if required. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Learn awesome new scooter skills that will boost your confidence, help you ride skate parks safely, and make every session even more fun! This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 4-17 years.
Junior bike skills
This course is suitable for young riders who can ride confidently on two wheels. Through riding-based games and fun activities your child will learn the skills needed to have fun off-road and on the bikeways. Presented as part of Council's Cycling Brisbane program.
Aqua aerobics
Experience an excellent, low-impact cross-training workout in the water. Feel the benefits of exercise without the pain. Using minimum impact movements, participants will develop strength, mobility and movement in a fun environment. This class will be held in the indoor heated pool.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Danny Widdicomb and the Wandrin' Stars. Danny Widdicombe and The Wandrin’ Stars unveil One Note at a Time, a rich collection of old-time country songs delivered with heart, grit, and understated virtuosity. One Note at a Time is the follow up to their single Blue Eyes Cryin’ in the Rain, which pays homage to the great Willie Nelson. A multi award-winning singer-songwriter, Danny brings together an all-star ensemble featuring Michel Rose on pedal steel, Luke ‘Fiddleboy’ Moller on fiddle, Brendan St Ledger on piano, Bos Borley on bass, and Doug Gallacher. Across bleeding-heart ballads, wry humour, protest angst, and late-night philosophical musings, the album reveals a songwriter at the height of his powers. Danny’s career spans stages and studios alongside Bernard Fanning, Tim Rogers, Shane Nicholson, and even work on Baz Luhrmann’s film Elvis. Counting his releases with The Wilson Pickers, Trichotomy, and Ant Aggs, this marks his twelfth album - a culmination of a lifetime devoted to song. Get your passport for a thrilling journey through the Solar System, out of the Milky Way Galaxy and to the edge of the observable universe, returning home via a black hole. Narrated by Tom Hanks. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Passport to the Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York in collaboration with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Major support for new version provided by the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco.

Pinky then draws these ideas live to construct a spontaneous, hilarious, and heartwarming story with catch-on-the-spot songs right before your eyes.
