Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Aqua aerobics

Talk to a Planner
Talk to a Planner sessions help residents, business owners, community groups and industry professionals understand Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan) and how it relates to their building and construction plans. Talk to a Planner is available all year round, with additional sessions held regularly across the city for your convenience. During these free sessions you can speak face-to-face with a planning specialist, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about how City Plan relates to your property. Council also has a team of dedicated officers who can answer simple questions about your development application over the phone during business hours (9am-4pm, Monday-Friday). To speak to an officer please phone Council on 07 3403 8888 and ask to speak with a Planning Information Officer.
Visible Ink takeover the QSM stage featuring Ava Thorn
Visible Ink will be taking over the Queen Street Mall to showcase another emerging young performer! Ava Thorn is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter. Influenced by the likes of Esha Tewari, Jeff Buckley and Paramore, Ava’s sound is acoustic and dreamy with inspiration from indie, emo and rock music. Ava has been drawn to music for as long as she can remember and songwriting is her ultimate creative outlet. Ava will be performing from 12-12.30pm and 1-1.30pm.
