About This Event
Visible Ink will be taking over the Queen Street Mall to showcase another emerging young performer! Ava Thorn is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter. Influenced by the likes of Esha Tewari, Jeff Buckley and Paramore, Ava’s sound is acoustic and dreamy with inspiration from indie, emo and rock music. Ava has been drawn to music for as long as she can remember and songwriting is her ultimate creative outlet. Ava will be performing from 12-12.30pm and 1-1.30pm.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Talk to a Planner is available all year round, with additional sessions held regularly across the city for your convenience. During these free sessions you can speak face-to-face with a planning specialist, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about how City Plan relates to your property. Council also has a team of dedicated officers who can answer simple questions about your development application over the phone during business hours (9am-4pm, Monday-Friday).
