Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. NAIDOC Week - Aboriginal art and cultural workshop

Join this fun and informative art and cultural workshop with presenter Rick Roser. This highly engaging and insightful experience builds awareness of Aboriginal cultures and shares knowledge through stories, art, music, and practical hands-on activities. Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the environment centre. All children must be directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Suitable old clothes recommended for messy play. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Gathering presents Sue Ray. Sue Ray, winner of the 2022 Blue 'n' Roots QMusic award, is a First Nations artist who captivates audiences with her original brand of country/blues and roots music, smoky rich voice, and high energy performances. Often compared to artists like Bonnie Raitt, Chris Stapleton and Lucinda Williams, Sue's sound crosses genres allowing her appeal to a wide audience. Catch Sue Ray's live performance from 12 noon to 1pm at the main stage of Queen Street Mall. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.
