About This Event
Come and join us for a unique event for children aged 8 years and over! Have a yarn and learn traditional First Nations customs and painting techniques with Our Yarn (Ngalin Ayeye) at Urban Utilities Visual Art Water Stories Experience.
This is an interactive and engaging painting workshop for children, led by Our Yarn, that raises awareness about the urban water cycle and its deep connection to First Nations culture, histories and stories.
Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the centre. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-smart clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Bring water and a snack if required as there are no food outlets on site.Note: This activity can be delivered indoors if required. Events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
