Gathering presents Cool tha Kid Boasting over 60,000 listeners per month on Spotify, over 4.7M views collectively on YouTube plus over 70,000 across all platforms, Brisbane’s Zeek Power is establishing himself as an exciting and unique artist within the world of new-age R&B Pop. With his nostalgic take on classic R&B and Hip-Hop influences, Zeek merges his love for storytelling with a sound that seems ‘alt’ and unique, yet familiar in its ability to make the listener feel instantly at home. Join us from 12 noon to 1pm at the main stage of Queen Street Mall for some free lunchtime entertainment performed by Zeek Power 'Cool tha Kid'. This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.

Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government. Craig & Karl: Double Vision is a dynamic, playful exploration of one of Queensland's most internationally successful creative exports. Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago.
