Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Perfect Little Planet
Children will love this tour of the Solar System through the eyes of a family of aliens on vacation from another star system. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. This show contains some flashing light sequences.
The People’s Dancefloor Dance Workshops
Join in the dance these school holidays with free drop-in workshops led by Common People Dance Project! Whether you’re a tiny twirler or a grooving grandparent, these drop-in sessions are designed for all ages and abilities — no experience needed! Children’s storytime in the park - Pallara Park, Pallara
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. This is a Gold'n'Kids event suitable for seniors and young people 7-12 years.
Free guided tour - City Botanic Gardens
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
