For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Children’s storytime in the park - Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Christmas On Queen
From roller-skating candy canes to still walkers and musical trios (and even a grumpy strop!), Queen Street Mall will be taken over by roving Christmas performances over the month of December. Come and say hello! Times: 11am–3pm daily 4pm–8pm daily. Where: Roving throughout Queen Street Mall.

12 Days of Christmas - Meet Wildlife Neighbours
Native wildlife live all around us - from our backyards, to local parks and nature reserves. But have you had a chance to meet them up close? Join our wildlife expert this Christmas season as they introduce you to amphibians, reptiles, mammals and birds. Learn more about these unique Australian animals and how you can help your wildlife neighbours. Requirements: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the environment centre. All children must be directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Community Immunisation Clinic - Toowong
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.
