The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. A combination of cardio, strength and stretching exercises designed to help you increase or maintain your fitness. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Music beat kids groups
Come and enjoy the great outdoors with your little ones while you move and make music together. You will share a special time with other parents, while helping your little ones learn and grow through musical play and movement. Take home tips for how to keep grooving and creating musical moments at home provided.
Stretch and mobility
Bookings essential. Increase your flexibility, mobility, balance and range of movement. This class will include stretching and activation exercises designed to lengthen and strengthen your body and posture in a relaxed group setting. Specifically targeted to suit active older adults and those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Bookings essential. Focus on aerobic fitness, strengthening with light weights, flexibility, coordination and balance followed by relaxation with gentle exercises. The session is performed either seated on a chair or standing while holding onto a chair for stability and support. No floor work. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
