Gumtree Kids Messy Play at Newfarm Park - Garden theme (babies only)
Join us for a messy, fun and creative themed messy play experience! At Gumtree Kids, little hands are encouraged to explore, create and play freely through thoughtfully designed sensory stations and open-ended play. Each session is themed, hands-on and full of textures, colours and imagination - all set up for children to enjoy at their own pace. Perfect for curious babies, toddlers and preschoolers, our sessions are suitable for ages 6 months to early walkers, with a relaxed, welcoming environment for families to connect, play and make memories together. A combination of cardio, strength and stretching exercises designed to help you increase or maintain your fitness. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Stretch and mobility
Bookings essential. Increase your flexibility, mobility, balance and range of movement. This class will include stretching and activation exercises designed to lengthen and strengthen your body and posture in a relaxed group setting. Specifically targeted to suit active older adults and those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour.
