An information and co-design session for the Youth Climate Action Fund.Come along to an information and co-design session to better understand the Youth Climate Action Fund and how you can get funded for your climate solutions!Brisbane has officially been selected as one of just 300 cities worldwide to receive funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies under the Youth Climate Action Fund, which empowers young people to step up, build skills and deliver research-backed results that could make a difference across Brisbane.We will talk about the grant requirements and how to set your project up for success.Age: The fund is open to applicants 15-24 years who live or study in Brisbane.Venue: Online Microsoft Teams meeting.

Free guided tours - City Botanic Gardens
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.Walk timesDaily departures at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday.Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace.Meeting point: City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology's Main Drive pathway).Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Bookings essential. Focus on aerobic fitness, strengthening with light weights, flexibility, coordination and balance followed by relaxation with gentle exercises. The session is performed either seated on a chair or standing while holding onto a chair for stability and support. No floor work.This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
Paddington song birds
Come along and join our relaxed community group where singers and ukulele players come together for fun. We enjoy songs from the 1960s-70s. The group is hosted by Grace, a local Paddington volunteer who loves sharing her passion for music and singing.
