Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. This dazzling space show launches visitors through space and time to experience the life and death of the stars in our night sky, including our own nurturing Sun. Tour familiar stellar formations, explore new celestial mysteries, and discover the fascinating, unfolding story that connects us all to the stars. Those who come along for the journey may never see the night sky in the same way again. Narrated by Whoopi Goldberg. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Bands in Parks: Father's Day at City Hall
Bands in Parks performs at Brisbane City Hall The Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra takes to the stage with a blockbuster program of light classics and movie themes. There will be afternoon tea and scones available for purchase as well as wine and cheese packs. Make it an afternoon out – invite family and friends for an afternoon at City Hall. The concert is free but if you would like to sit and sip with a glass of wine and cheese plate, or enjoy afternoon tea and cake, then it’s just $10 per person. As a Father’s Day special, you’ll also be able to purchase a Father’s Day Pie Plate with classic steak and Guinness pies, mash, mushy peas and Beer.
