Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Gumtreekids messy play - Dino and diggers / Blippi theme
Our regular messy play sessions are all about hands-on fun and sensory exploration using taste-safe, food-based materials. We create a welcoming space for all ages, with a dedicated baby zone for 6–18 months, a toddler zone for busy little movers, and during school holidays we also welcome over 5s to join in the fun. These sessions encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play - all in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Sibling rates and under 20 months are discounted. Play passes are available - 10 play sessions for purchase at a low rate.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Aqua aerobics

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - Riverside Guitar Ensemble
Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents Riverside Guitar Ensemble. The Riverside Guitar Ensemble is resident at the Queensland Conservatorium and brings together Queensland’s finest young professional guitarists with current guitar students from the Conservatorium guitar department. The ensemble is directed by Karin Schaupp and has performed extensively at festivals and concerts throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW, and most recently they were invited to perform at the Adelaide Guitar Festival. It is rare and challenging for a guitar ensemble of this size to perform unconducted, making it function much like a chamber orchestra and resulting in a very strong sense of communication amongst all members. Riverside continues to challenge the boundaries of repertoire for this unique ensemble combination. The ensemble’s premiere recording of Ginastera’s Dream by Brazilian composer Chrystian Dozza has been internationally released on Dozza’s new CD. The ensemble continues to premiere and commission new works, including works by young Brisbane composers. This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Anje West.
