Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane's Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors.Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size.Walk timesDaily departures at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday.Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace.Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre.Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts presents The Acoustic Guitar Spectacular.The Acoustic Guitar Spectacular returns in 2026, bringing three outstanding Australian guitarists together for a concert of exceptional acoustic music. Hosted by internationally recognised guitarist Michael Fix, the concert highlights the skill, precision and creativity that have made this series a favourite with Queensland audiences.Joining him are Jason McGregor and Craig Claxton, two highly respected musicians with distinct styles. McGregor is a national fingerstyle champion known for his versatile musicianship and soulful vocal work. His performances have taken him across Australia and internationally, earning industry awards and a strong following. Claxton brings over 50 years of experience, shaped by blues, rock and jazz influences. He has performed with a long list of celebrated Australian artists and remains a sought-after guitarist, educator and session player.Together, Fix, McGregor and Claxton present a diverse program that spans multiple styles and influences.
