Bookings essential. A combination of catamaran sailing with an experienced skipper along the shores of Wynnum plus supervised kayaking on sit-on-tops within a confined area. This is fun for all the family. Suitable for all ages (generally 5+). Must fit one of our lifejackets (supplied).
What You'll Need
Clothes and shoes that can get wet. If you wear glasses a glasses strap is recommended. Towel and change of clothes.

Meet beside the picnic shelter on south side of Wynnum Creek - Waterloo Esplanade.

Perfect Little Planet
Children will love this tour of the Solar System through the eyes of a family of aliens on vacation from another star system. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. This show contains some flashing light sequences.
Aqua aerobics
Experience an excellent, low-impact cross-training workout in the water. Feel the benefits of exercise without the pain. Using minimum impact movements, participants will develop strength, mobility and movement in a fun environment. This class will be conducted in the outdoor 25m/50m pool.

Christmas On Queen
From roller-skating candy canes to still walkers and musical trios (and even a grumpy strop!), Queen Street Mall will be taken over by roving Christmas performances over the month of December. Come and say hello! Times: 11am–3pm daily 4pm–8pm daily. Where: Roving throughout Queen Street Mall.

Free guided tour - City Botanic Gardens
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at the City Botanic Gardens. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Walking tours for individuals or small groups (no more than ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Location: Meet at the City Botanic Gardens Information Kiosk (next to the Queensland University of Technology’s Main Drive pathway). Tycho Goes to Mars
Our favourite cheeky dog is blasting off to discover the red planet, Mars. Tycho is in search of water to fly his steam-powered space kennel back home. But how will he find water on Mars, when it looks so cold, dusty and dry? Produced by Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks, Museums Victoria. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky.
Deep water running
This is an aquatic workout that uses all major muscle groups. Participants wear a buoyancy belt so there's no need to worry about being in deep water however you do require basic swimming skills. Classes will be held in the outdoor 50m pool. You must bring your own buoyancy belt for this class.
