Celebrate Easter in the sunshine with a relaxed afternoon of live music, family fun, food trucks and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Brass Roots Live and the Ken Chow Jazz Bands will bring their unique blend of smooth Jazz and upbeat brass tunes. Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny who will be hopping through the park with easter eggs and plenty of smiles for the kids.

You can also learn how to identify eucalypts growing in your backyard. This special guided walk led by the Volunteer Guides is part of GumFest which celebrates National Eucalypt Day held annually in March. Come and enjoy the GumFest activities at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha on Sunday 22 March from 10am to 3pm. This event will be held at the Australian Plant Communities section of the Botanic Gardens. You can walk (20–30 minute walk) or jump on the shuttle bus from the Visitor Information Centre. Requirements: Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen and insect repellent.
