First 5 Forever nature play
Discover the joy of nature-based stories and experiences to try at home. Ideal for children aged 3-5 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
First 5 Forever toddler time
Meet other parents and toddlers for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for toddlers aged 1-2 years. The First 5 Forever initiative is funded by the Queensland Government.
Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Aqua interval training
A highly effective form of cardiovascular training, which involves brief bursts of high-intensity work followed by a recovery period. This allows you to workout at a higher intensity, with less impact on the body and with the added benefit of resistance that the water provides. Suitable for all fitness levels. Everyone works at their own pace.

You will share a special time with other parents, while helping your little ones learn and grow through musical play and movement. Join other jarjums in a special storytime with authors Aunty Rhonda and Jacki as they share their new picture book Brave Young Eagle, the fourth book in the Spirit of Dreaming series. Enjoy an interactive puppet show along with original music. Ideal for children aged 2–5 years.

Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. Get together with other locals to discover the free online resources available with your Brisbane Library membership. This session includes tips on how to read your favourite online library content including e-magazines and newspapers. Bring your own device, library card and email account details.
