About This Event
Bookings essential. Come and join in the fun of this adventure walk. Every family who comes along will receive a Passport with a list of key features to find including scenery and animals. Your family will work together as a team to find all the special locations, then get them stamped in your passport. Siblings under 3 years of age are welcome to attend for free.
This is a Gold'n'Kids event suitable for seniors and young people 3 years and over.

Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Children’s storytime in the park - Dorrington Park, Ashgrove
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government. Black History Month - Healing Barrambin Garden Tour
Visit Jagum Barrambin - the 'Garden in the Windy Place' and Barrambin Farm to learn all about the area's environmental and cultural significance, which pre-colonisation provided traditional foods and bush medicines, for at times, up to 1000 Turrbal and Yuggera people.

Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. The walks are taken at a gentle pace for about one hour. Community Immunisation Clinic - Upper Mount Gravatt
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Take a look at the National Health Medical Research Council vaccination schedule for advice about when you should be vaccinated. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision.

Bookings essential. A fun filled session where you get to do basic techniques of martial arts; starting with punching, defending, kicking moves, moving into break and escape techniques. This is a Chillout activity suitable for young people 5-17 years.
