About This Event

Gathering presents Jamiesha Jamiesha is a dynamic and powerful band that draws inspiration from their Indigenous roots in the Barkindji nation and Western Samoa and their music is a celebration of culture, pride, and protest. Based in Meanjin/Brisbane, their original music is a unique fusion of pop, rock, hip hop, and soul reflecting the diverse and colourful nature of their heritage.   Join us on Wednesday 24 September from 12 noon to 1pm to see Jamiesha jam out on the Queen Street Mall stage.  This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.
