Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Lord Mayor's City Hall Concerts - From Handel to Hollywood
Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts presents From Handel to Hollywood. Timeless Baroque music from the silver screen, brought to life in superb performances by Arioso Chamber Ensemble. This concert features Baroque music which features in film scores, including Master and Commander, Pride and Prejudice, The English Patient, Farinelli, Shine, Tous les matins du Monde, and Boogie Nights. Baroque music captures every mood and has been used to great effect in many memorable screen moments. Arioso Chamber Ensemble regularly performs in SE Qld and surrounds. The performers: Judit Molnár (soprano), Margaret Caley (baroque violin), Frank Fodor (baroque viola), Janet Brewer (harpsichord) and Shannon Scheltema (viola da gamba), have a passion for bringing baroque music to a wider audience through their performances. This Lord Mayor's City Hall Concert is produced by Salubrious Productions.
