Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government. Location: On site parking available off Frew Street. Session is held at playground.

Clock Tower Tour

For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Bahala/o by Buddy Malbasias
An introspective and playful exploration of identity; rooted in Filipino tradition, living the queer immigrant experience - halata. Embodying the Filipino philosophy, ‘Bahala Na’, Bahala/o is a 1hr duet performance of dance, theatre and everything in between to explore cultural hybridity, duality and the fluidity of identity. Two distinct performers, one pedestal fan and a whole lot of questions, all set in a dream-like rice world. From independent Filipino-Australian artist, Buddy Malbasias, Bahala/o transcends traditional performance, weaving deeply personal narratives and broader cultural reflections. This evocative new work invites audiences to explore the dualities of existence, illuminating the complexities of living between worlds while embodying the enduring spirit of Bahala Na. Community Immunisation Clinic - Upper Mount Gravatt
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus.
