Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Perfect Little Planet
Children will love this tour of the Solar System through the eyes of a family of aliens on vacation from another star system. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. This show contains some flashing light sequences.
Deep water running
This is an aquatic workout that uses all major muscle groups. Participants wear a buoyancy belt so there's no need to worry about being in deep water however you do require basic swimming skills. Classes will be held in the outdoor 50m pool. You must bring your own bouyancy belt for this class.

Free skateboarding lessons for all skill levels. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 6-17 years.
Craig & Karl: Double Vision
Craig & Karl: Double Vision is a dynamic, playful exploration of one of Queensland's most internationally successful creative exports. Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Tycho Goes to Mars
Our favourite cheeky dog is blasting off to discover the red planet, Mars. Tycho is in search of water to fly his steam-powered space kennel back home. But how will he find water on Mars, when it looks so cold, dusty and dry? Produced by Melbourne Planetarium at Scienceworks, Museums Victoria. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

WSClayworkers Annual Exhibition 2025 - Wayfarer Beasts Clay Workshop
Join artist Kelly Otto in her exploration of how we can slow down - and create a beast that moves at its own pace. In this fun, hands-on workshop, you’ll dream up your own Wayfarer Beast - a creature that shuffles, slides, stomps, or drifts and travels through the mythical worlds in its own unique way. Whether it's a lumbering giant with a forest on its back, a drifting sky-whale made of clouds, or an agile wanderer collecting treasures on its journey, your beast will have a story to tell. In this workshop, you will: explore design ideas through drawing and painting, guided by Kelly’s own creative process, exploring wild shapes and features your beast may have. through clay you’ll experiment with form, texture, and detail as you bring your wayfarer creature to life in clay — making something as strange, wonderful, or quirky as you like. air-dry clay will be used so no kiln is needed.No experience needed – just imagination and a sense of fun. No boring rules - just vibes and creative freedom. All materials supplied, you just bring the ideas. Learn some simple sculpting tricks to bring your creature to life Take your creation home - no kiln, no stress! Included in your ticket: All materials will be provided. All clay tools and materials.
