The Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra (BRYO) is a youth pops orchestra which performs a wide variety of genres from light classics to movie themes and everything in between! Spoil your mum this Mother's Day and enjoy a high tea and glorious symphonic music at City Hall. There will be afternoon tea and scones available for purchase as well as wine and cheese packs. Make it an afternoon out – invite family and friends for an afternoon at City Hall.

Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Bands in Parks performs at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha. Join TLF Creative’s LawchestraQ for an enchanting lunchtime concert featuring the majestic sounds of the symphony orchestra, from the light-hearted 'Liberty Bell March' to iconic pieces including Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, Holst’s 'Jupiter' and George Bizet’s 'Carmel Suite'. Bring a picnic rug and enjoy an afternoon on the bandstand lawn as you take in the beautiful setting of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens in the foothills of Mt Coot-tha.
