The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Featuring talented performers from Brisbane’s very own K‑Pop dance community, this high-energy show is inspired by a hit blockbuster K‑Pop kids movie and packed with everything families love about the genre. Kids are invited to dress up as their favourite K‑Pop star, learn cool new dance moves, and sing along to the music. This is the ultimate school holiday event everyone will be talking about! The QUBE Effect Triffid Residency
Join this year’s The QUBE Effect finalists as part of their annual residency in The Triffid Garden with free live music each Sunday during June. These exciting 12 emerging local acts have been busy developing their skills, working with industry professionals and now you can see them live, onstage ahead of the release of their music videos, public voting for the People’s Choice Award in August and the Awards Night in October. Balmoral Art Month - Sketching in the cemetery
Friends of Balmoral Cemetery, and tutor Jennifer Hall, present a Sketching in the Cemetery event. Meet at the top shelter, turning just past the Memorial Wall. Wear safe footwear, hat and walking pole. Bring your own water, clipboard, chair or rug. Bring your own art equipment if required but paper and pencils are provided. All skill levels welcome.
