Northey Street Organic Farmers Market
There are a wide variety of organic fruits, veg, microgreens, grains and seeds, herbs and spices, meat, seafood, dairy, bread, milk, cheese, eggs, honey, pantry items, vegan food, ethical gifts, health and well-being services, kids activities, the City Farm Nursery, coffee, tea, juice, green smoothies, kombucha and Chai or Iced Matcha with your scrummy organic breakfast. Park Pedal and Scoot
Come and join our community participation rides, as we welcome bike and scooter riders in the parklands of Brisbane. The BQ Park Pedal and Scoot rides are designed to encourage Queenslanders to get outdoors and get active, in a safe and supportive environment. The event involves engaging with the parklands while riders complete their supplied Adventure Passport, including some skills and safety awareness. As a free community event proudly supported by the Queensland Government, Bicycle Queensland hopes to see more people riding more often. So come and join the ride!
Clean Up Australia Day - Volunteer Bushcare Working Bee - Brandon Road Bushcare Group
Join other like-minded volunteers to help protect and restore Brisbane’s unique biodiversity through our Habitat Brisbane program. The Brandon Road Bushcare Group volunteers will be participating in Clean Up Australia Day on their bushcare site & invite you to join them. Please bring gloves if you have them (some provided), sunsmart clothing and enclosed walking shoes. Venue: Glenefer Street Park, Brandon Road, Runcorn

Whatever your skill level and motivation, joining your local Habitat Brisbane group is a great way to connect to nature and be active and healthy, all while meeting new people, developing new skills and making a difference to your local environment. Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projects.Perrin Creek (Miawela St Park) Bushcare Group meet on the first Sunday of the month 7.30am-10am, as well as the third Saturday of the month 7.30-10am.
Mobility for life
This class takes you through a variety of stretching and mobility exercises. Starting with a gentle warm-up you will be guided through both upper and lower body stretches and exercise to help mobilise joints and muscles. We finish with a full body relaxation, leaving you feeling rejuvenated for the rest of the day.
Yoga
Focus on a range of movements to relax the mind and body. Stretching, breathing, strength and balance exercises are included by incorporating standing poses and mat work into the session.
Tai Chi Qigong
This dynamic activity is invigorating and will help you feel relaxed, refreshed and calm. Rejuvenate your body and learn to create a tranquil mind. Join any week. This is a GOLD event suitable for seniors.
