Beginner junior mountain bike skills
For riders that can ride but want to improve skills for off-road. Session is held on grass only. Presented as part of Council’s Cycling Brisbane program.
Volunteer Bushcare Working Bee - Perrin Creek & Seven Hills Bushland Rehabilitation Group
Join other like-minded volunteers to help protect and restore Brisbane’s unique biodiversity through our Habitat Brisbane program. Whatever your skill level and motivation, joining your local Habitat Brisbane group is a great way to connect to nature and be active and healthy, all while meeting new people, developing new skills and making a difference to your local environment. With 160 groups across the city there’s bound to be one near you! Habitat Brisbane volunteers undertake a variety of activities including: managing environmental weeds revegetating with local native plants creating habitat for native wildlife citizen science projects.The Perrin Creek & Seven Hills Bushland Rehabilitation Group meet every Tuesday and every Friday, and the second Saturday of the month 7.30-10am. Location: Seven Hills Bushland Reserve, 508 Darcy Road, Seven Hills.

Nature Play for 5–8 years
Bookings essential. This inclusive nature play program is open to children 5-8 years. Have fun in the mud kitchen or have a go at loose parts play. This is a great opportunity for families to engage in outdoor play together, with something for every age and stage of development.
Team fitness challenge
Bookings essential. This unique team fitness challenge will be the most fun you ever had exercising. Giant connect 4 obstacle relay, group exercise challenge, tire pulling challenge, team tug of war, Tic Tac Toe relay and more. This is a Chillout event and suitable for children age around 10-17 years.
Community Immunisation Clinic - Wooloowin
Brisbane City Council provides free vaccinations to eligible residents (aged from 6 weeks and above) through our community immunisation clinics. Immunisation helps protect people against diseases such as influenza, measles, whooping cough, polio and tetanus. Providing a free immunisation service is another way Council is helping deliver our Brisbane Vision. Stand-up paddle boarding
Bookings essential. Learn the basics of stand-up paddle boarding. This lesson includes safety instruction, paddle techniques and activity tips. All equipment is provided and no experience is necessary. A sunsafe top will be provided for the activity. Bring a towel. This is a Gold'n'Kids event suitable for seniors and children 10 years and over.
Woodworking in the park - Fliptastic puzzles
Bookings essential. A unique opportunity to get creative and use real woodworking tools as you design and assemble your own mix-n-match wooden puzzle. This is a Chillout event suitable for young people 5-14 years.
First 5 Forever toddler time
Meet other parents and toddlers for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Ideal for babies and toddlers aged 1-2 years. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
