The Haunts of Brisbane: Ghosts of the City is a captivating after-dark tour that begins well within the historic grounds of Toowong Cemetery — Brisbane’s grand necropolis — and reaches into the very heart of the city’s supernatural folklore.
Guided by renowned paranormal historian and The Haunts of Brisbane founder Liam Baker, this torchlit journey takes you through real historical accounts that have inspired some of Brisbane’s most persistent ghost tales. As you make your way among the graves and stories, you’ll uncover the chilling facts behind the fictions that have lingered in Brisbane’s psyche for generations.

Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. Children’s storytime in the park - Pallara Park, Pallara
Experience the magic of storytime with your child during a First 5 Forever storytime session in the park at the Pop-up Library. This interactive session includes stories and songs for young children. Ideal for children from birth to five years and their parents or carers. First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Join us for a messy, fun and creative themed messy play experience! At Gumtree Kids, little hands are encouraged to explore, create and play freely through thoughtfully designed sensory stations and open-ended play. Each session is themed, hands-on and full of textures, colours and imagination - all set up for children to enjoy at their own pace. Perfect for curious babies, toddlers and preschoolers, our sessions are suitable for ages 6 months to early walkers, with a relaxed, welcoming environment for families to connect, play and make memories together. Join us this Autism Awareness Day for a special walk through Brisbane City Council’s Outdoor Gallery exhibition, AMPLIFY ME! with exhibition curator Nicole Crosswell. AMPLIFY ME! is an exhibition that celebrates local artists with lived experience of disability, showcasing powerful creative voices across Brisbane’s Outdoor Gallery. Meet the artists and curator behind AMPLIFY ME! as we explore selected works from this exhibition, honouring neurodivergent perspectives in contemporary art. Listen to insights into their practice and process directly from the artists, and hear from curator Nicole Crosswell about the development of AMPLIFY ME! and the significance of centring lived experience within Brisbane’s Outdoor Gallery program. Take a leisurely walk, hear personal stories, and gain a deeper understanding of how creativity and self-expression can help amplify perspectives within the community. Free guided tour - Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha
Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
